Germination: 7–14 days at 55–70°F.
Care: Keep soil moist, especially during germination and early growth. Mulch to maintain soil moisture and cool roots. For continuous leaf harvest, sow every 2–3 weeks. Pinch back flower heads to extend leaf production or allow bolting for seed harvest.
Harvest: 45–70 days for leaves, 90–100 days for seeds. Harvest leaves when plants are 4–6″ tall, cutting outer leaves first. Collect seeds when they turn brown and dry on the plant.
