Overview:
Also known as Single leaf or Flat Leaf Parsley. The flavor is richer than curled varieties, and is ready to harvest in about 75 days.
Growing Instructions:
Sowing: Most gardeners sow parsley indoors to give the plants a head start; soak the seeds overnight, then plant them 1/4″ deep and keep them at 65-70°F. Because parsley has a notions habit of slow germination, don’t expect to see sprouts for 3-5 weeks. Keep the soil evenly moist. Transplant the seedlings when the average soil temperature reaches 60°F, spacing them 6″ apart in full sun or partial shade. Parsley also grows well as a container plant.
Germination: 14–28 days at 50–80°F.
Care: Parsley has shallow roots, and should not be allowed to dry out for long. Mulch to help preserve moisture and control weeds.
Harvest: 70–90 days. Cut outer leaves as needed, before flowering.
