Overview:
A bulbless variety that produces flavorful, leek like stalks. These plants are hardy and will overwinter for spring bunching. Can be used for both green bunching and scallions. It can be harvested anywhere from 60 to 120 days.

Growing Instructions:
Sowing: Gardeners with a short growing season may want to start their seeds indoors. Plant the seed 1/4″ deep in a flat 2-3 months before the last frost in your area, keep the soil moist and at room temperature. When the tops begin to flop over, cut them off to 3″ to focus growing on the roots of the onion. When soil temperature reaches 50°F, transplant 3″ apart in rows 12″ apart. For direct sowing, sow 3 seeds per inch 1/4″ deep in light, rich soil(pH 6.0-7.0) and full sun. Thin the seedlings 3″ apart. For companion planting, plant with members of the cabbage family, lettuce, or tomatoes.
Germination: 7–14 days at 50–75°F.
Care: Onions need moisture, especially in their first few weeks of growth, they also can not fight against weeds, mulching onions can help with both weed and moisture control. White bunching onions can tolerate both cold and light frost.
Harvest: 60–80 days. Cut tops or pull entire plant.
